The casino I went to has you turn your losing Keno tickets in at the Keno booth with your name and info on the back of the ticket and holds a drawing. I put my ticket in there just for the heck of it and I won $500! WooHoo.

Hi all,
I really excited to have joined this forum and to converse with you all! We all have something in common, our love for not just money/gambling..but for the game of Keno too!
I LOVE this game. Even though i have not won more than $60. And lost hundreds and hundreds this past few months alone!
A little justice would be nice, this game owes us all alot!
So i thought since i just signed up here, it would be a good first post to share a few things i have noticed in keno.
Although maybe not one individual piece of advice can help to win, but exchanging what we know together can surely bring us closer!

What I have noticed is, and have been working on is relationship of numbers and the physical patterns they make on the board.
I download real results, run state wide, from my local venue and test and compare hundreds and hundreds of games.
I have found 70% of the time, when the number 24,33 and drawn together, number 73 or 79 ALSO comes up with this combination.
I have found that if 24 is drawn on its own, number 41 comes up most of the time as well. I compared the physical patterns of about 100 games that all had number 33 and 24 come up together, and the boards all looked remarkably similar in pattern structure! It was a shock to be honest. I have attached a sample of this phenominon. I got the results from playkeno.com.au which also shows u animated results from any day, and looks like a real keno screen (An australian one anyway!). You can also download as many results as you want into excel spreadsheets etc etc.

Are the any differences you are aware of between Australian and U.S. Keno?

Ive gotta go right now,ill post back soon.
Thanks,
-KenoLoser (thats me haha)

2006: I won an 8/8 in keno lottery

Hello Everyone,
I’m a fan of keno lotteries. I play in the Hungarian state keno lottery game. The system there is not very different from other keno lotteries: 20 numbers are drawn out of 80, and you can decide how many numbers you want to pick. The minimum is 1, the maximum is 10. There is one draw every day. In June 2006 I contrived a variation and won 2 million HUF, which is about 10,520 USD. Then I risked only 11,000 HUF, which is about 58 USD. In my country 1 variation costs 100 HUF, which is less than 0.5 USD. So I made 110 different rows (some of them contained 7, some 8, some 9 and some of them 10 different numbers. Then I managed to achieve an 8/8.
My system is based upon grouping the numbers according to certain aspects. For example: there are groups which contain only prime numbers, there are groups which contain only even numbers, there are groups which contain only numbers which are divisible by 3, etc… Then I determine the order of numbers within the certain groups on the basis of their frequency in the last few (5-6) draws. One-draw-per-day games best fit my strategies because I have enough time to think before making my tips.
Later I also won a 9/8 and had other smaller hits (such as: 9/7, 10/8).
So, I think, keno lotteries are worth thinking about. If you have any other ideas concerning keno lottery games, please share here!

Keno horror stories

I’ve had many, but this one is the absolute worst. Big Board Keno at an Indian casino near Tacoma, WA about 10 years ago.

Filled out a card for a 15-spot. The numbers, if anyone cares, were 1,2,11,12…5,6,15,16…9,10,19,20…71,72,73.
See the pattern? Anyway, I was about to play it and then decided not to. Right out of the gate, they started drawing the #‘s like crazy. An amazing 13 of the 15 came up. I think the odds of hitting that are even higher than hitting many lotteries. Missed out on $50K for a straight $1 wager.

Anyone have a brutal story to share?

In Vegas, my wife had a 7-spot (way ticket with a 3 & a pair of 2’s) ticket filled out and she was on her way up to the counter to play it, but they closed the game before she got up there. Sure enough, ALL 7 came up.

Keno can be a vicious game, but I love it.

Learning all about Keno

Some of my fondest memories with my parents have to be when I learned how to play Keno while in a cafe at a hotel in Reno, Nevada. I was probably about 10 years old and I was just having breakfast with my folks before the dropped me off with some friends before they went gambling. We all sat down and my dad asked me to hand him the Keno card and crayon. I thought I would get to color some stuff or something but he soon showed me what he was doing. He let me pick some numbers and play my own card (even though I couldn’t).

Any time I make it to a casino in Nevada I remember to go and have breakfast in a cafe in a casino just so I can play Keno and remember those times.
